Baseball Recap: O'bryant Wins Going Away Against Madison Park RVT/Mckinley RVT

O'Bryant never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT on Monday. They blew past the Cardinals 12-3. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won three matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Airon Mercedes Encarnacion tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Edward Santana was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for O'Bryant: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. William Thompson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double.

O'Bryant moved to 4-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.
