Desert Hills gave up the first goal on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hurricane Tigers, sneaking past 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for Desert Hills as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Boone Heaton and Kasen Davis scored all three of Desert Hills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Desert Hills' victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-5. As for Hurricane, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Desert Hills will square off against rival Snow Canyon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hurricane is set to take on their familiar foe Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
