It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Thomas Jefferson had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Fort Lupton Bluedevils as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Reese Myers paced Thomas Jefferson's offense, picking up 15 kills. Myers got some help from Ellie Huntsman and her 18 assists. Myers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Thomas Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Fort Lupton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.

Thomas Jefferson has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lutheran on the 7th. Fort Lupton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
