The Millard North Mustangs will take on the Westview Wolverines at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Millard North will be strutting in after a  victory while Westview will be coming in after a  loss.
Millard North's pitching crew heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They put the hurt on Omaha North with a sharp  8-0 win. Considering the Mustangs have won six contests by more than six  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Brandon Berge looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Marcus Hankins, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Jackson Smith was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Millard North  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Omaha North only managed four  hits.
Meanwhile, Westview faced Creighton Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Junior Jays by a score of  8-7.
  Kevin Rempe was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Darius Boyd, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
 Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Millard North, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 13-7.
 Everything went Millard North's way against Westview in their previous matchup  back in March of 2023, as Millard North made off with  a  15-3 win. Will the Mustangs repeat their success,  or do  the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
