Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Woods). They never let the Westbury Huskies onto the board and left with a 9-0 win on Tuesday. The Tigers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six contests.

Spring Woods' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matchups. As for Westbury, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Woods will face off against Waltrip at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Waltrip will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Spring Woods surely won't give up without a fight. Westbury will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sharpstown at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th.
