Baseball Recap: Whittier RVT Comes Up Short

Whittier RVT fell victim to Shawsheen Valley Tech and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in April.

Whittier RVT saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Howell, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Whittier RVT and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Shawsheen Valley Tech, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 16-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whittier RVT is set to face off against their familiar foe Lowell Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shawsheen Valley Tech will square off against rival Greater Lowell Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
