Baseball Game Preview: Westminster Christian Warriors vs. Western Wildcats

The Westminster Christian Warriors will face off against the Western Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Westminster Christian came up short against Faith Lutheran on Friday, falling 11-4.

Landon Tews made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Juan Godoy was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Western came up short against Rock Bridge on Thursday and fell 9-4.

Miguel Tapia was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Westminster Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Western, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
