Softball Recap: Tempe Comes Up Short

Tempe lost to Dysart on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buffaloes lost 13-2 to the Demons. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tempe saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Krystal Ortega, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Tempe now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Dysart, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tempe will take on rival Cortez at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Dysart is set to face off against their familiar foe Desert Sunrise at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
