Baboquivari had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 4-5 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Valley Union Blue Devils by a score of 60-52. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

As for Valley Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Baboquivari: they've now lost seven in a row.

Despite the defeat, Valley Union saw an underclassman step up: freshman James Richardson shot 54% from the field on his way to 21 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Richardson now owns an excellent 46.2% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Richardson, who posted nine points.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Baboquivari beat Valley Union by a score of 48-39 on Monday.
