Volleyball Game Preview: Davis Sr. Blue Devils vs. St. Francis Troubadours + How To Watch

Davis Sr. hasn't had much luck against St. Francis recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will host the Troubadours at 6:30 p.m.

Davis Sr. came up short against Rocklin on Monday, falling 3-0.

Davis Sr. was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-14.

Meanwhile, St. Francis waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Trojans.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 20-25, 25-20.

St. Francis' win came from a few key players Davis Sr. will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Malia Fat, who had 13 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hiedi Vu, who had 17 assists and three digs.

St. Francis was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.

Davis Sr.'s loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for St. Francis, their victory bumped their record up to 29-7.
