Basketball Recap: Pell City Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pell City extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-7. They came up short against Pelham, falling 77-54. The matchup was a close 32-30 at the break, but unfortunately for Pell City it sure didn't stay that way.

As for Pelham, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 75.6 points this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pelham to victory, but perhaps none more so than Greyson Childress, who posted ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Ramone Patrick also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pell City will welcome Fort Payne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pelham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marbury at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
