Hawthorne Math & Science Academy had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the New Roads Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Aviators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hawthorne Math & Science Academy took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-10.

Hawthorne Math & Science Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. As for New Roads, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
