Football Game Preview: Glenn Bobcats vs. North Forsyth Vikings + How To Watch

Glenn has gone a perfect 4-0 against North Forsyth recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will host the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Glenn fought the good fight in their overtime contest against North Davidson on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 21-20 to the Black Knights.

Despite their loss, Glenn saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Brady Robinson, who threw for 227 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 46 yards and one TD, was perhaps the best of all. Joel Hayes was another key back, gaining 136 total yards.

Glenn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Garrett Wilson and Semaj Galloway. Glenn got some further help from Terrence Daniel: he picked up three sacks and made five total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, North Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Mount Tabor, falling 47-6. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

North Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Glenn, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Glenn has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 167.6 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for North Forsyth, though, as they've been averaging only 52.6 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Everything came up roses for Glenn against North Forsyth in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, as the squad secured a 27-0 victory. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
