In Friday's Canine Competition, Montesano prevailed. They blew past the Black Hills Wolves, posting a 47-7 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-0.

Montesano's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.8 points over those games. As for Black Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Montesano wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 56-0 victory against Napavine on the 26th. As for Black Hills, they have also already played their next game, a 41-7 loss against Rochester on the 26th.
