Cornerstone Christian had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 29-point drubbing they dealt College Park on Saturday. The Cornerstone Christian Cougars blew past the College Park Falcons 69-40. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 29 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, College Park saw an underclassman step up: freshman Miles Cooper posted nine points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Smith, who had eight points.

Cornerstone Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for College Park, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Cornerstone Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Hood River Valley at 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for College Park, they will welcome Las Lomas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. College Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.9 points per game this season.
