Soccer Recap: Scottsboro Comes Up Short

Scottsboro lost against Albertville back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Scottsboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 113th, while Albertville are ranked 28th).

Scottsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-5. As for Albertville, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6-1 record this season.

Scottsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Albertville, they will face off against Geraldine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
