Volleyball Recap: Tri-County Takes a Loss

Tri-County lost against Rosholt back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Penguins came up short against the Hornets, falling 3-0. The Penguins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Tri-County ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-17.

When it comes to explaining why Tri-County lost, don't look at Arayanna Foster. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs and three aces. Foster has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Tri-County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Rosholt, they pushed their record up to 15-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Tri-County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rosholt, they are taking a road trip to challenge Wabeno/Laona at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
