Basketball Game Preview: LaFayette Ramblers vs. Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots

The LaFayette Ramblers are taking a road trip to square off against the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

LaFayette took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Ridgeland by a score of 64-55. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Ramblers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences came into Tuesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 65-57 win over Sequatchie County on Tuesday.

LaFayette's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

LaFayette and Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but LaFayette came up empty-handed after a 59-58 loss. Can LaFayette avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
