Johnsonburg has gone a perfect 4-0 against Smethport recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams will welcome the Hubbers at 4:15 p.m. Johnsonburg is looking for their season's first win.

Johnsonburg lost 17-2 to DuBois Central Catholic on Wednesday.

Frank Miller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That run marked the first that he scored this season.

Meanwhile, Smethport came up short against Coudersport on Monday, falling 13-6. The loss continues a trend for the Hubbers in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost five in a row.

Konnor Miller was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Rylan Shields, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Smethport now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Johnsonburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Johnsonburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Smethport in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Hubbers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
