Recap: Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms vs. Southampton Mariners
The Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southampton 73-27 on the road. Bayport-Blue Point's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Southampton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Daelyn Palmore. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Bayport-Blue Point, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. As for Southampton, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Mount Sinai the next time they take the court. Southampton will head out to face Mount Sinai at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Bayport-Blue Point will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
