Soccer Game Preview: Hollidaysburg vs. Tyrone

Hollidaysburg has won seven straight games at home, while Tyrone has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Golden Tigers will host the Golden Eagles at 8:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

On Thursday, Hollidaysburg needed a bit of extra time to put away Central Mountain. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 2-1. That's two games straight that Hollidaysburg have won by just one goal.

Owen Naugle and Braelyn Ross scored both of Hollidaysburg's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 30 goals.

Meanwhile, Tyrone was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Bellefonte.

Tyrone's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Hollidaysburg, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2-1.
