Softball Recap: Hardin Valley Academy Takes a Loss

Hardin Valley Academy was the 8-1 winner over Alcoa when they last played one another back in April of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hardin Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-22. As for Alcoa, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 25 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6-1 record this season.

Hardin Valley Academy will host Karns at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Beavers have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests. As for Alcoa, they will head out to square off against Powell at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tornadoes surely won't give up without a fight.
