Valley Christian had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bishop Amat Lancers. The Defenders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.

Valley Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 24-26, 25-23, 25-14.

Valley Christian's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. As for Bishop Amat, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Valley Christian has already played their next contest (against Whittier Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bishop Amat, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against St. Paul on the 11th.
