Basketball Recap: Sunday's Loss Ends Malden Catholic's Winning Streak

Malden Catholic and Somerset Berkley Regional squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Malden Catholic had to settle for second. They lost 65-44 to the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders. The contest marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Somerset Berkley Regional got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dom Taylor out in front who shot 47% from the field en route to 17 points and eight rebounds. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 47% in the last three games he's played. Finnian Bjork was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 17 boards.
