Game recap: Sachse High School Football Team defeats Rowlett

ROWLETT, Texas - Sachse (Texas) beat Rowlett (Texas) 57-31 on the strength of Kent Myers, who tossed four touchdown passes.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Devine Ozigbo in the first quarter, the Mustangs were up 28-11 at the half.

Sachse saw its 17-point halftime lead decrease to 12 entering the fourth.

A 32-point fourth quarter solidified the win for SHS, as it pushed the final margin of victory to 26.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 23-20 win for the Mustangs.



The loss was the third in a row for the Eagles.

Rowlett (1-5) will play a 5A Region II District 11 game against South Garland next week, while Sachse (7-0) will take on Garland also in a 5A Region II District 11 game.
