Soccer Recap: King's Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, King's Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They fell just short of Berean Christian by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but King's Academy couldn't quite close it out.

King's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Berean Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3-1 record this season.

King's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Knoxville Christian on the 28th. Berean Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
