Football Recap: Sunnyside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sunnyside extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were beaten by the Moses Lake Mavericks 49-13. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

When it comes to explaining why Sunnyside lost, don't look at Ryan Hendrickson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

As for Moses Lake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Sunnyside is ranked 66th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brady Jay had an outrageously good game as he threw for 392 yards and seven TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. Jay is crushing it when it comes to passing yards: he's passed for at least 392 every time he's taken the field this season. Case Anderson was in the mix too, providing Moses Lake with two scores.
