Buchholz lost to West Port back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Buchholz Bobcats won by a run and slipped past the West Port Wolf Pack 15-14.

Emily Sorah was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Juliana Abraham also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Buchholz's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for West Port, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buchholz will welcome P.K. Yonge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buchholz is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season. As for West Port, they will host Master's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Port knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Master's Academy likes a good challenge.
