Baseball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lexington on Saturday, Perry came back down to earth. The Maroons came up short against the Chandler Lions on Saturday, falling 9-3. The Maroons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Chandler, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Chandler didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Lexington on the 3rd. Hopefully Perry paid attention to the Lions' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions on Sunday.
