Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Notre Dame lost against Mediapolis back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Notre Dame Nikes were outmatched by the Mediapolis Bulldogs and fell 58-13. The game marked the Nikes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Notre Dame dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mediapolis, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Notre Dame will take on Holy Trinity Catholic in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Trinity Catholic will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Notre Dame surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mediapolis, they and Winfield-Mt. Union will meet in a canine-themed contest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mediapolis is facing Winfield-Mt. Union at the right time seeing as Winfield-Mt. Union is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
