Scott got themselves on the board against East Carter on Saturday, but East Carter never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 6-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Trey Cook was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Scott's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for East Carter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-13.

Scott didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 loss against Rowan County on the 10th. As for East Carter, they will head out on the road to take on Russell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
