Basketball Recap: Jaiden Sabino Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat San Juan Hills + How To Watch

Woodbridge lost to San Juan Hills back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Stallions by a score of 68-57. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Stallions are ranked 339th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Woodbridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaiden Sabino, who shot 75% from the field en route to 18 points. Sabino is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games he's played. Garrett DiCostanzo was another key player, going 6-for-13 to rack up 15 points and four steals.

Woodbridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Juan Hills only racked up eight.

Despite the loss, San Juan Hills still got an impressive performance from Nicholas Francik, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 23 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Kamran Aziz, who posted ten points.

Woodbridge is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for San Juan Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
