Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Has No Trouble Against Comanche

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Eisenhower ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Comanche Indians. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Eisenhower saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ EL Kouri, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most hits EL Kouri has posted since back in March.

Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Comanche, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Eisenhower and Comanche could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. The Eagles will face off against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (259 vs. 24). Meanwhile, Comanche (ranked 214th) will meet Dibble (ranked 40th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
