Football Recap: Green Hope Starts off Right with Win over Ravenscroft

Green Hope had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Ravenscroft Ravens 52-0. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 22-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Nicholas Goulet was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.2% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Another player making a difference was Adarius Beasley, who rushed for 55 yards and a pair of scores.

Green Hope didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 49-0 victory against East Chapel Hill on the 29th. As for Ravenscroft, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 52-7 loss against Charlotte Latin on the 29th.
