Basketball Recap: Mounds Park Academy Takes a Loss

Mounds Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the White Bear Lake Bears 83-55. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Bears are ranked 119th).

Mounds Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for White Bear Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.
