Flat Rock is 9-1 against Grosse Ile since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Rams will square off against the Devils at 4:30 p.m. Flat Rock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Flat Rock nor Riverview made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Rams lost 7-0 to the Pirates. The Rams have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Flat Rock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Neace, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Grosse Ile couldn't beat Milan on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the seventh inning. The Devils fell just short of the Big Reds by a score of 11-9.

Charlie McCarthy and Marian McCarthy did some serious damage despite the final result: Charlie went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run, while Marian went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Marian has hit this season. Malayna Jarnot was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Grosse Ile's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Flat Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Everything went Flat Rock's way against Grosse Ile when the teams last played back in April, as Flat Rock made off with a 14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
