Basketball Recap: Beebe Comes Up Short

If Beebe was feeling good fresh off their 54-30 takedown of Jacksonville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Beebe Badgers fell just short of the Vilonia Eagles by a score of 45-43 on Friday. The match marked the Badgers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Beebe's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Vilonia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Beebe and Vilonia should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Beebe will face off against Sylvan Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 124 places (22 vs. 146). Beebe will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Vilonia (ranked 18th) will meet Parkview (ranked 89th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
