Mills University Studies was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sylvan Hills Bears. On the bright side, the 57- point effort marked the Comets' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Mills University Studies' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sylvan Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Mills University Studies will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Benton at 2:30 p.m. on December 6. As for Sylvan Hills, they will challenge Watson Chapel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
