Hickory Grove Christian won the last time they faced Queen's Grant and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions blew past the Stallions 14-5. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by nine runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hickory Grove Christian and bumps their season record up to 7-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Queen's Grant, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Hickory Grove Christian will take on Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Queen's Grant, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
