Basketball Recap: Alburnett Takes a Loss

Alburnett was the 52-45 winner over North Linn when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Alburnett Pirates were outmatched by the North Linn Lynx and fell 70-32. The loss was the Pirates' first of the season.

Alburnett's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1. As for North Linn, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alburnett will host Starmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Linn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
