Softball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for King's Christian

King's Christian posted their closest victory since May 14, 2024 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against The Christian Academy, sneaking past 5-3. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with The Christian Academy: they've now won six in a row.

Bridet Levandoski was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run.

In other batting news, Lillian Logan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

King's Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for The Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Christian will host The Pilgrim Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
