Soccer Recap: Apex Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Apex managed to slip by Chapel Hill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Tigers on Monday, falling 5-2. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Apex struggled afterwards.

Nicolas Lombardo and Isaac Mariani scored both of Apex's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Apex dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Chapel Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Apex has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Green Hope on the 16th. As for Chapel Hill, they will welcome Jordan at 6:45 p.m. on the 23rd.
