Soccer Recap: Aiken Victorious

Aiken kept a clean sheet against Colleton County on Friday. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0. Camp Elvis had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Aiken.

Aiken's lineup was just a bit different on Friday as Elvis got a bit more time on the pitch (70 vs. his season average of 44.7). Elvis made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Aiken's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Colleton County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Aiken will take on Gray Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Colleton County, they will challenge Beaufort at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
