Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lexington Christian). Everything went their way against the Burgin Bulldogs on Wednesday as they made off with a 23-8 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by ten runs or more this season.

Lexington Christian's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Burgin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Coming up, Lexington Christian will venture away from home to square off against Christian Academy-Louisville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burgin, they will challenge Danville Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
