Volleyball Recap: Marmaton Valley Comes Up Short

Marmaton Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Liberal on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberal found their leader in sophomore Braylen Frieden, who had four digs and three aces.

Marmaton Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-2. As for Liberal, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Marmaton Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Chetopa on the 9th. As for Liberal, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Yates Center on the 6th.
