Baseball Recap: Leman Manhattan Prep Takes a Loss

Leman Manhattan Prep lost against St. Ann back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bull lost 15-1 to the Steamers. The Bull have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leman Manhattan Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Shange, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. Shange also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

Leman Manhattan Prep's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for St. Ann's, they pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Leman Manhattan Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Ann's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Packer Collegiate Institute at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pelicans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Steamers surely won't give up without a fight.
