The Davidson Day Patriots will face off against the Lake Norman Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Davidson Day and four for Lake Norman.

On Tuesday, Davidson Day was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 67-61 to Concord Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (55), the Patriots still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Lake Norman was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 58-52 to Mallard Creek.

Davidson Day will need to focus on slowing down Noah Wilson, one of several Lake Norman players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 18 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Owen Pfefferkorn, who had ten points and eight boards.

Davidson Day's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Lake Norman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
