Volleyball Recap: Alisal Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Alisal won the last time they faced Palma and things went their way on Thursday too. The Alisal Trojans blew past the Palma Chieftains 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won four contests in a row.

Alisal never let Palma on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-23.

Alisal pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Palma, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

Alisal and Palma should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Alisal will challenge Yerba Buena at 6:30 p.m. on March 28th up 370 places (209 vs. 579). Meanwhile, Palma (ranked 197th) will meet Everett Alvarez (ranked 450th) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
