Football Recap: Martin County Comes Up Short at Home Against Lawrence County

Martin County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Lawrence County Bulldogs on Friday, falling 35-7. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Devan Maynard threw for 26 yards on three of 14 attempts.

Martin County will square off against Pike County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence County, they will head out on the road to square off against Garrard County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
