Saranac had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Saranac Lake Red Storm get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won ten contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Elizabeth Recore, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024. Abby Liberty was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Saranac's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.9 runs over those games. As for Saranac Lake, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

As of now, neither Saranac nor the Red Storm have any future games scheduled.
